Adriana Hidalgo Editora is one of the most prestigious publishing houses in Argentina and recognized throughout Latin America and Spain. Founded in 1999 and continuing the tradition of other independent Argentinian presses, they specialize in literature, essay, philosophy, art, and illustrated books. They publish Spanish-language authors as well as expert translations from a variety of languages. Their catalogue, of over 390 titles, is known for its literary quality, for its innovativeness, and for its international scope. In 2009, they founded Pípala, an imprint dedicated to illustrated books with a strong, internationally-recognized catalogue of books for children and lovers of illustrated books in general.
