Tenemos las Máquinas was started in 2012 inside a small printing press in Buenos Aires with the aim of publishing voices and perspectives that we feel a deep connection to. We like to think of ourselves as a platform for the investigation into various means of cultural diffusion. With this objective in mind, we’ve created an online music series called “Tenemos las Máquinas en Vivo” where we invite twelve indie bands to play at the press. We publish fiction through the collections “First Books” and “Forever Young;” texts on film directors from around the world in the bilingual “Las Naves” series; and essays by artists in “Avenida Independencia.”
